Our premium Fescue is a cool-season grass that is valued for its adaptability to a wide range of climates and its tolerances for cold and shade. Depending on where you live and your lawn goals, this versatile grass may be an excellent choice for you.Cool-season grasses grow best in the spring and fall when air temperatures range between 60 and 75 degrees F. The growing season for cool-season grasses ranges between the months of March and November. However, these grasses do not grow well in the hot summer months.
